...And sometimes you lose some- dealing with loss and grief
Sometimes you can control life to some extent and plan it.
And sometimes life happens to you, without your permission.
For instance, I had COVID a few weeks ago and it’s taking longer than I want to fully recover.
And two friends have lost close loved ones recently.
And someone is dealing with a really difficult relationship issue.
And someone is being made to retire who doesn’t want to.
Dealing with your COVID trauma and grief
What can you do with your covid grief and trauma? Try journaling.
COVID Trauma
Is COVID causing trauma for you? Are you easily triggered or often moody or irritated? Are you constantly anxious or worrying? Is your time management so out of whack that you are not taking time to have fun, or even to take care of yourself? Are you easily overwhelmed, much more easily than a year ago? Are you catching more colds than normal and getting multiple covid tests, just to “make sure”? Are you getting addicted to something: gaming, shopping, social-media, alcohol, etc.?

When you take time to reflect on your emotions and experiences you grow.
but it seems to be getting worse, so what can I do, now?
How can I deal with tension this week? The answer: Choose to hold the conflicting emotions and thoughts and let the tension just be; allow the issues that contradict each other to come into your conscious and pay attention to it all.
Stress VUCA and COVID
When you mix VUCA (volatile, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) with COVID-19 you get a VUCA on steroids. So, what is to do about it, both personally, and in organizations?

What I have Learned in COVID-19 Lockdown- and with #BLM
What have you learned during the COVID-19 Lockdown and with #BLM? I have learned that loving the other person, your neighbor is hard work and that reflection is key.
