Sometimes I find the best leadership in my faith tradition and I have recently read a book by Alain Emerson§ that has really helped me and confirmed some of my practices, especially when it comes to Team Leadership.

Here are his suggestions for leading teams, with my “twist” on them.

A company needs a great leader, but this person cannot do everything, so there are many parts of leadership that need to be covered to keep the company healthy. There need to be people persons, innovators, designers, marketers and networkers, the best in production, and the best in quality management.
